Become a Team Elephant Trumpeter!
Did you know that elephants communicate with more than just trumpets? They can produce a broad range of sounds from very low frequency rumbles to higher frequency snorts, barks, roars, and cries. Under ideal conditions, it is possible that elephants can hear each other from more than 6 miles away! AMAZING!
We humans can't make our literal voices travel that kind of distance, but we can spread important news by sharing information with other people.
We need some dedicated, elephant-loving, Team Trumpeters to help us spread the word about Art for Elephants and Words for Elephants. Would you like to be a Trumpeter? Here are some things you could do:
Tell other kids you know about sending the elephants to a sanctuary and ask them to make some art.
Spread the word at school and in your neighborhood. If you can collect the art and send it to us, that will help to make sure we get it. We can also send an adult team member to pick it up.
Have an elephant art party in a local park
Going to the park after school or on the weekend? Take some paper and markers with you and see if other kids want to help.
Talk to the Adults you know and see if they will write a letter to city leaders.
The email addresses they will need are
